Miracle Bio LASEK

Premium Customized LASEK with Amniotic Membrane
Miracle Bio LASEK is a LASEK procedure that utilizes amniotic membrane. The amniotic membrane is the innermost layer surrounding the placenta — rich in substances that promote wound healing, support epithelial regeneration, and suppress inflammation. When applied to the LASEK surgical site, it reduces pain, accelerates epithelial regeneration, suppresses corneal haze, and supports a quick recovery with a clean corneal surface for superior visual outcomes.
It is also applied in LASIK/LASEK re-operations and corneal haze treatment, and is widely used in ophthalmology for recurrent pterygium surgery, persistent epithelial defects, chemical corneal burns, corneal perforation, and Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

What is amniotic membrane?
The innermost membrane of the placenta facing the fetus, approximately 70㎛ thick and translucent, containing diverse growth factors. As a membrane enveloping the placenta, it is rich in substances that promote epithelial regeneration during wound healing and suppress inflammation — reducing pain and accelerating recovery.
Effects on visual recovery, reduction of corneal haze, and lowered risk of myopic regression
The amniotic membrane contains various growth factors that accelerate corneal healing and contribute to a clearer visual outcome. It is also widely used to treat chronic corneal epithelial damage and corneal burns. Compared with conventional LASIK/LASEK procedures, it supports faster epithelial regeneration and stabilization, helping prevent complications.
