JC Bitsomang Eye Clinic has been recognized by Carl Zeiss, one of Germany’s leading global optical companies. Dr. Gerd U. Auffarth, a renowned ophthalmologist from Heidelberg University in Germany, visited JC Bitsomang Eye Clinic in Yeouido.
On February 7, Dr. Auffarth, Director of the Department of Ophthalmology at Heidelberg University Hospital and one of the world’s most influential experts in ophthalmology, toured the clinic.
He closely reviewed its systematic examination process and safety-focused surgical center and expressed great admiration for its advanced medical equipment and outstanding clinical system.
Dr. Gyung Bai Choi, Chief Director of JC Bitsomang Eye Clinic, and Dr. Auffarth exchanged surgical knowledge and information on cataract and presbyopia treatment and agreed to continue professional and academic cooperation for the advancement of medical care.
JC Bitsomang Eye Clinic also received a commemorative plaque from Carl Zeiss in recognition of its achievements in presbyopia-correcting surgery using the AT LISA® Tri multifocal intraocular lens.
