2017 Overseas Medical Missions to Fiji and Sri Lanka

From August 27 to September 1, 2017, the JC BITSOMANG EYE CLINIC Medical Mission Team traveled to Suva, Fiji, to provide free cataract surgeries.

Later that year, the team carried out another overseas medical mission in Kandy, Sri Lanka, from November 25 to December 1. The seven-day mission was also featured on FGTV, sharing the team’s missionary work in Sri Lanka.

Throughout 2017, the JC BITSOMANG EYE CLINIC Medical Mission Team and Blindness Prevention Team provided treatment to patients whose daily lives had been severely affected by advanced and complicated cataracts, helping them regain clearer vision and renewed hope.

Every year, JC BITSOMANG EYE CLINIC travels to communities in need with a mission:
