In December 2019, JC Bitsomang Eye Clinic surpassed 8,400 presbyopia and cataract surgeries in a single year!

In 2019, JC Bitsomang Eye Clinic performed more than 8,400 presbyopia and cataract surgical procedures. To commemorate this milestone, the clinic held a special in-clinic event with the patient who underwent the 8,000th procedure of the year, and Dr. Gyung Bai Choi, Chief Director, presented the patient with a bouquet of flowers and a commemorative gift.

As of December 2019, the clinic had recorded approximately 71,000 presbyopia and cataract surgical cases since its establishment. These figures represent documented procedures performed under the clinic’s established clinical protocols, including comprehensive preoperative examinations, individualized surgical planning, infection-control procedures, and postoperative follow-up care.
